eMesh panel for Modo 16 | 17
eMesh (Edit Mesh) is a script panel for Modo 16.1v8 and above, (Python v3.9) which is under development, more scripts etc. will be added to it as they are implemented.
If you like this script panel or just want to support me to further develop the panel, you can become a membership.
If the tool doesn't work, you probably didn't select the Mesh Layer!
It now works on Windows and Mac.
There are sometimes problems in MODO 17, but as they come, I solve them, perhaps this is due to a change in the API or the like.
If there are mistakes, I'm always open to feedback to correct them and help you.
Available scripts in the eMesh v1.0 panel:
- Bridge - This script connects selected edges or polygons to each other.
- Edge Shift - This script aligns edges relative to other edges or relative to each other.
- Hole Radius - This script changes the radius of holes.
- Triangulate - This script triangulates the selected polygon.
- Alignment - This script aligns objects between or between the first and last mesh .
- Clean Chamfer - A set of scripts for editing chamfers.
- Snap to Mesh - Snap polygons to the mesh of another object.
- Diagonal to Quad - Converts from a diagonal edge to a quadrilateral.
eMesh v1.1 update:
- «Clean Chamfer» has been added.
- The appearance of unnecessary windows when using the «Bridge» script has been removed.
eMesh v1.2 update:
- «Snap to Mesh» has been added.
eMesh v1.3 update:
- «Diagonal to Quad» has been added.
eMesh v1.3.1 [Bugs Fixed]:
- The «Diagonal to Quad» tool did not work in MODO 17, (an issue in TD-SDK), this has now been fixed and works in MODO 17.
eMesh v1.4 update:
- Fill Curve - Filling a curve with polygons.
- Reverse Chamfer - Inverts the chamfer in the opposite direction, or makes it flat.
- «Clean Chamfer» subpanel renamed to «Edit Chamfer».
- The «Apply» button in the «Edit Chamfer» subpanel has been renamed to «Clean Chamfer»
eMesh v1.4 [Bugs Fixed]:
- Bridge - When selecting edges for single polygons, an error no longer pops up, the script simply does not run, in order to use single polygons you just need to switch the Edges | Polygons into the “Polygons” mode and select the polygons - this is shown in the video, after which you can connect single polygons (Plane) to each other.
Additional Content:
- «Procedural Rope» - This node allows you to quickly create a simple rope.
